General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI just gave $150 to Doctors Without Borders
They're working in 70 countries around the world including Gaza, Syria, and South Sudan, and they're on the front lines of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
They are absolute heroes, and they're working under the worst conditions with a lack of basic medical supplies.
I know that money is tight for a lot of us, but even a $5 donation could save someone's life. 87% of your donation goes directly into the field to help some of the poorest people on Earth.
I ask you to please consider donating.
Thank you.

(32,056 posts)let's keep this kicked. Even small donations add up and I'd really like to see this virus contained. I know I wouldn't survive it if it somehow made it to my area.

(15,089 posts)Used to, but they turned out to be one of those charities that nag you to death with phone calls and mailings.

(3,581 posts)A small, painless amount every month adds up to a significant donation every year.
And the only time they've ever phoned me was when my bank changed my credit card # due to a security breach.
