This is not a list. Plenty of those.
This is not a complaint. Plenty of complainers to go around......
This is a not a critique. Plenty of those, too.
This is not a peeve, or an outrage or even a request.
This is a demand.
So..........
This is it:
Truly, if not now before the last election in which your oratory skills and intellect and communication skills will matter, then when? 2016 it will be Hillary all the time, every time versus the Clown Train the media will prop up with airtime and hair ball interviews and endless free deflection.
If you are still waiting for the people to lead you so you can lead them, those that have your back, you are waiting too long. You will wait forever. Sorry about that.
You are 3 times more popular than Congress, 2 times more popular than Republicans, more popular than your own party which is much more popular than the Republicans.
The people are with you on all the major issues, it is a good substitute for the grassroots storm that you want and find lacking.
What are you waiting for? This is the last election. The last election.
It is the Bully Pulpit, not the People's Pulpit. You own it. Use it.
Find your Roosevelt and your Truman, abandon your Lincoln, Lincoln did not have to deal with kindled fascism and a complacent, compliant media licking the boots of corporations that fund them and throw the mad, endless cash faster than they can send it offshore.
Please.
Pretty please?
Respectfully......

(13,992 posts)If party loyalists across the country are busting their hump to get out the vote, then the President can share in some of the heavy lifting. He would arguably benefit more than just about anybody else from at least keeping the Senate in Democratic hands.
