Interesting Market Basket development. The company posted a poll on their website...

and tweeted the link. The options are telling, as are the responses...

My response was "When Arthur T returns as CEO"

Give it a little Artie T love, should you be inclined.

Is it their website? FSogol Aug 2014 #1
Hmmm. Didn't see that, but it seems to have all of the links/info that a company site would have. MANative Aug 2014 #2
If it is theirs, I don't think they'll be happy with the results. FSogol Aug 2014 #3

Thanks - I will say, though, that since they don't seem to have an active website... MANative Aug 2014 #5
This is a customer fan site that has turned into a supporter of the protest. canoeist52 Aug 2014 #6

This is there: "Disclaimer: MyDemoulas.net is not owned, operated, or maintained by DeMoulas Market Basket, Inc."

Not sure. I'll take another look - thanks for the question.

ETA: In a Google search, the sites that use the exact term "Market Basket" in the web url are businesses located in either NJ or TX. I think this is the correct site.

Second edit: Some of the other material on the site does lend question to who operates it. Much of the "front page" info seems to be in support of the employee/customer boycott. What's odd, though, is that I could find no other "official" website for Market Basket. I wonder if they don't have one?

Note: MyDemoulas is an independently run website and has no connections in any way to DeMoulas Market Basket, Inc / Market Basket, Inc.

many customers probably think this is the legit source. I certainly has the same info that a true site would have, e.g. locations, flyers, menus, etc.

I searched through five pages of Google results and couldn't find anything else that linked directly back to the company. It's interesting that the percentages in the poll correspond pretty closely to the sales results - business 90% down and 90% of respondents saying they won't be back without Artie T.
