Baden's associate (who helped with autopsy) on CNN: One shot COULD HAVE come from behind
Brown had one entrance wound on the arm that entered the "back" (actually medial) part of his lower arm. The shot, he said, could have come from somebody in front of Brown if Brown was shielding himself with that arm, or if Brown had his arms raised. The shot could have also hit the arm by somebody shooting from behind Brown as Brown was walking away.
Claims in the New York Times that all shots hitting Brown had to have come from the front are false, according to the person who assisted with the autopsy. The shot in the lower part of Brown's arm could have been fired from behind him.
That's from his mouth to Anderson Cooper just now.
He seemed to believe that it came from the front, as do I. It would be a strange coincidence to be hit from behind and then have the other front-facing shots hit around the same grouping in a separate set of shots. But the New York Times and people relying on that article seem to be incorrect in saying that no shots came from behind, definitively. I just heard the guy who conducted the autopsy say that it's perfectly possible for Brown to have been hit from behind in his arm as he was walking away from Wilson.
And that means it's not so easy to discount those witnesses anymore.
