Black and Blue: Officer Sees Both Sides in the Michael Brown Shooting

http://www.theroot.com/articles/culture/2014/08/black_officer_sees_both_sides_in_michael_brown_shooting.html?wpisrc=topstories

Police have said that when Wilson tried to get out of his vehicle, Brown pushed him back into the car, then entered it and began fighting for the officer’s gun.

No sober black kid does that, at least not over a cop rolling up and opening the door. Dorian Johnson’s version that the cop tried to choke Brown through the window is way more plausible. Maybe Brown reached for a gun then. Maybe not. The real story is probably a mix of Johnson’s and the cop’s version.

(snip)

“As a black woman, I know what it feels like to be followed around in anything from a low-end convenience store to a Saks Fifth Avenue, simply because of the color of my skin. I also know what it feels like to be pulled over unjustly—and I absolutely know it’s not right because I happen to know the motor vehicle laws. I know what it feels like to have a man, who is driving and I’m a passenger, be pulled over unjustly while we’re driving through a white town. So please don’t take this as me not understanding the plight of us as African Americans in this country, because I do.

“However, as an officer, I also know what it feels like to be harassed, assaulted, spit at, cursed at and have unjust complaints filed on me because the man or woman I went after was a fugitive and he or she eluded arrest. Because the group of dudes on the corner were clearly hustling and I moved in to make my arrest. Because I pulled out my weapon on the young man who did not heed my requests to slowly take his hands out of his pockets, to stop running, to stay where he is, to let me see his hands, to put his hands in the air, to put his hands on the steering wheel, etc. Because I was doing my job.

Officer Demetria L. Lucas states the FPD said Michael Brown got in the car.. but, the witnesses are saying the complete opposite. IOW.. Mike Brown did Not have a death wish.

They should have traces of Michael Brown's DNA in Wilson's car if he got in. but, the bottom line for me is I do not trust the FPD. They have given me no reason to and every reason not to.

The stories from team Wilson are so completely different from 5 eyewitnesses and seemingly from the autopsies so far.

She seems to be more on the side of Eyewitness accounts..

.What They Saw: 5 Eyewitnesses to the Michael Brown Shooting

Also from the root..

My big question is why do the Police think they have to lie about anything? Why isn't there a Vid of this? Don't they have dashboard cams?

So mind boggling fubared(I hope not) Michael Brown

5. The man who spoke to Brown right before he left for the convenience store.

A man, who preferred to speak on condition of anonymity, told Fox2 News that he and Brown had seen each other right before Brown went to the convenience store. The man said Brown told him that he was “feeling some bad vibes” but that the “Lord Jesus Christ” would help him through it. The man said that Brown said he’d return to continue their conversation after making a stop at the store.

Approximately 25 minutes later, the man heard gunfire and looked up and saw a man, who he didn’t know at the time was Brown, “staggering and running.”

The man said that Brown put his hands up and started screaming, “OK! OK! OK! OK! OK!” The witness claims that the police officer didn’t tell Brown to get on the ground or anything.

“He just started shooting,” the man continued, estimating that the officer shot Brown six or seven times after he turned around to seemingly surrender. “There’s no way you can justify it.”

Peace to you, Cha.

That was something! Poor sweet thing. So that right there says a lot about how he would react to Darren Wilson's approach to him and Dorian Johnson.

Wtf was Darren Wilson on?! For cripes sake.. they were just walking in the street on their way to Dorian's house. I get so angry and sad at this.. I can only imagine how those close to Michael Brown must feel.

Glad you posted it as an OP, Uncle Joe~Peace to you
