“I know that they portrayed me as an idiot, and I hated that, and I wanted to come on the show and counter some of that.”
“If I ran into Tina Fey again today, I would say: ‘You need to at least pay for my kids’ braces or something from all the money that you made off of pretending that you’re me! My goodness, you capitalized on that! Can’t you contribute a little bit? Jeez!’”

she's much worse than that.
There could be a reason for that...
She also has less self-awareness than a tree fern or some of the lower fungi.

Dunning has since drawn an analogy ("the anosognosia of everyday life"
[1][6] with a condition in which a person who suffers a physical disability because of brain injury seems unaware of or denies the existence of the disability, even for dramatic impairments such as blindness or paralysis.

Maybe he did, but my memory is of him caricaturing Carter as a smiling, smooth-talking (albeit well-intentioned) Southern salesman.
But it's been a long while since I've seen his impersonation.
This is him as a hip Carter talking down a caller who is having a bad acid trip:
look like the idiot that you are. I thought Tina Fey made her look smarter then she really is.
And yet that is still the best thing about Palin.
Nearly every other trait she possesses is worse.
Much worse.
Did she used to be somebody?
