The racism is thick right now in on websites like CNN and Washington Post

Don't read the comment sections of articles if you don't have a strong stomach. Every other comment is a racist diatribe it seems. They are furious Zimmerman is being charged with murder. Free Republic is also in a state of pure, unmitigated anger.

This is nothing new and has been going on for a while now. News websites like CNN may want to consider disabling comments for articles that discuss anything to do with African Americans, even Obama. Those articles just attract too many racists. Imagine the kids reading and being exposed to this stuff.

When I see people like the Oklahoma shooters gunning down random blacks, it disgusts me but it definitely doesn't surprise me.

This is where we are right now in America folks.

I also read yahoo message boards from time to time, and sometimes you can't stick a dime in between all the racist rants going on, and don't even get me started on you tube comments. There are a TON OF RACISTS out there, and a black man being president has drove them to the knife edge of nuttery. They are probably dreaming about an all out race war and locking and loading, ready to fight!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo_(Gulliver's_Travels)

A Yahoo is a legendary being in the novel Gulliver's Travels (1726) by Jonathan Swift.
Swift describes them as, filthy and with unpleasant habits, resembling human beings far too closely for the liking of protagonist Lemuel Gulliver, who finds the calm and rational society of intelligent horses, the Houyhnhnms, far preferable. The Yahoos are primitive creatures obsessed with "pretty stones" they find by digging in mud, thus representing the distasteful materialism and ignorant elitism Swift encountered in Britain. Hence the term "yahoo" has come to mean "a crude, brutish or obscenely coarse person"

and maybe if by mistake they come across all the numerous comments online, or start to hear talk where they work etc. they may realize there still is a lot of racism in this country

As time progresses its just more laws to try and prevent racism and hate that have been enacted
but they dont change racist's hearts and minds no law can do that.

Bigotry and racism will attempt to infect society again but the numbers against it is overwhelming.
Vile things must be brought out into the open so the sun can shine on it and it can finally be put to death.

What I find amusing is the huge number of people who still think CNN or WaPo or MSNBC or any mainstream media has any credibility at all. The all treated torture like it was a debatable topic, spread WMD lies for their own profit, print daily racist op-eds, spread mass financial and economic misinformation and constantly push/sell lies for for-profit boner drug hucksters.

I mean seriously, if people are so stupid that they willingly choose to believe the crap the media sells then they deserve it.
