We need a new updated teaparty version of "All In The Family"

The old show was great at highlighting the idiocy of right wing thinking.
Archie Bunker spouted hilarious conservative propaganda and brought to everyone's attention how stupid and hypocritical it all was.

Tea party thinking is ripe with potential for a biting comedy.
It could be Mr. Smith goes to Washington twisted into some bizarre Bachmannesque shape.

Colbert is great but I don't on know of any story based shows that focus on this.
We need one.

Writers out there, are you listening?

Let's hope some one pens it right away.
If ever there was a need for such a show, it is now.

to one Tea Party saw the bull shit and ran.

The problem is All in the Family could not be made today. I honestly don't think it is even ran in on any channel because the PC police have kind of ripped it apart.

The last time I saw a episode on TV a lot of it was cut out.

It got toned down later on. Not sure whether that was due to network nervousness or just the natural tendency of sitcoms (particularly ones of that era) to lose their edge after a while - probably a bit of both.
