Could George Zimmerman's phone, email and or forum postings have been tapped? Could a judge issue...

such a tap on the basis of probable cause?

Would such evidence (aside from his conversations with attorneys) be admissible in a court of law?

Perhaps his old attorneys found out and had to bail because they knew that George had undermined their defense.

But I do know that when your attorneys bail on you that it isn't a good sign!

They were publicity seekers who never had even met with their so-called client. The committed several ethical violations at their closing press conference when they broke attorney-client privilege. That privilege remains even when you leave a client.

.. it has probably already happened. Records of those sort would be invaluable in probing a civil rights crime.
