such a tap on the basis of probable cause?
Would such evidence (aside from his conversations with attorneys) be admissible in a court of law?
Perhaps his old attorneys found out and had to bail because they knew that George had undermined their defense.

(32,029 posts)They were publicity seekers who never had even met with their so-called client. The committed several ethical violations at their closing press conference when they broke attorney-client privilege. That privilege remains even when you leave a client.
