I appreciate their recent apparent conversion to holding players, and hopefully owners, to a civilized standard. That being said, I'm turned off by the sanctimonious of all the sports reporters who've talked about this stuff for years and only now pass judgments. Yeesh, it's been called the National Felons League for at least 30 years now. That should really be an indication of what's been considered acceptable behavior by all involved for a very long time.

I'm sure he's tickled ever time he loses another slew of sponsors, thinking, so what if this gig ends? He can go as low as he likes.

I only wish his legal team one day screws up to the point he becomes penniless, but I don't count on it.

Fri Sep 12, 2014, 11:20 PM
Sep 2014

there is alot of hatred of women....its about to be exposed too. I think some people are going to be shocked by how much hatred of women there really is...

Whenever I find someone who is racist....you can bet your bottom dollar they are also misogynist. Many hate women even more than they hate minorities.....because they believe women are already privileged because most women do not want THEM! Because women do not in reality find them as attractive as they find themselves.....they resent them for that...their real malfunction....the real fear of any racist or misogynist....is that minorities or women realize their actual strength in numbers and will gain more power....and FINALLY give them a taste of their own medicine in revenge for how really horrible and spiteful their thoughts and deeds have been towards those groups. Deep down they realize they deserve no better!

he gets his "jollies" finding ways to verbally assault women.....by pushing the envelope and say anything and everything he can about them...to belittle them in public.....I personally think he has serious short-comings and he resents women for rejecting him and "them". I have often found it odd that mr "macho man" psuedo-religious-man Rush Limbaugh who married 5 women and never even accidentally impregnated any of them? Curious......

It hasn't stopped Rush while, at the same time, it has alienated a lot of people who might otherwise vote for Democrats.

Same and blame works well on children. The newer generations are much better as a result, but this strategy is a failure with adults and a failure in the short term. I need people to vote for Democrats now.

I am looking for better strategies, but I haven't found them yet.

I am glad that he has lost a bunch of sponsors, but he's still on the air. He's still quite wealthy, and he doesn't really need more income. He has a platform, and a lot of people listen to what he says. There must be a reason for that. In part, I think, it's because reasonable, intelligent adults are insulted by the "shame and blame" strategy.

In sum, I question the short-term effectiveness of your preferred strategies. That's all. I regret, however, that I have no better strategies to offer or recommend.

he is a gas bag full of hate. Calling Fluke a slut probably wasn't even his lowest point. But, I have heard him a handful of times where I used to work a decade ago and saw him on TV once scared the *bleep* out of me they panned the audience they looked like corporate zombies. So, he has probably said a lot worse that I haven't even heard.

But bringing up Tebow on issues like this is kind of futile.

Hate him or not, Tebow is not out there beating women and children, and not running the clubs with his posse.

The NFL could use a few more Tebows and lot less Rice, Peterson, Lewis, Rothli... aww hell, the list is just to long.

Yes, if you don't beat women then you're somehow less manly then the men that do. More to the point, you are less of a football player. I'm sure all those Patriot players can't wait for Robert Kraft to invite Rush into his box for a game. Hey look our owner is hanging out with the guy that thinks we all beat our wives. I'm sure that will go over well. People wonder why I hate the Patriots and I wonder why Robert Kraft hangs out with a man that thinks Kraft is a wousy because Kraft don't beat his wife enough. Or perhaps Kraft does since Rush hangs out with him... hmm. Lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas Mr. Kraft.

Remember when Tom Jackson and the other former players force Rush Limbaugh off the ESPN set... do you need more information on why people like Tom Jackson hated working with Rush.
