New Al Qaeda India Branch Attacks Wrong Ship

"The first ever attack by the newly-announced Indian Subcontinent branch of Al Qaeda went really, really poorly. The attack launched last Saturday In Pakistan seems to have targeted the wrong ship.

Fighters of the Islamic terror group branch that was unveiled two weeks ago had planned to storm an American aircraft carrier at a Karachi port, but found a Pakistani Navy ship in its place, The Telegraph reports. The attackers suffered heavy casualties as the Pakistani Navy easily overpowered their attempt. Three of of the Al Qaeda fighters were killed and seven were arrested according to Pakistani officials. Two Pakistani Naval guards were wounded."

Right wing, owned by a couple of rich brothers (also own the Ritz Hotel, catalogue shopping interests, and various other things), constantly in tax avoidance scandals, and owners of an island off the small Channel Island of Sark, which they seem to want to control like their own fiefdom.

Also worth noting that

They also said they were sceptical over whether al-Qaeda had any involvement in the attack and suspected it was claiming credit for another group's work. "If they did it why would they wait until Thursday to claim it?" said one source.

Everyone else just reported it as the Pakistani Taliban (who claimed the attack long before Al Qaeda): http://www.dawn.com/news/1130663 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-29122325

imagine if we had just attempted the same strategy to get bin laden from the start. no need for all out war .

at the same time some humanitarian assistance for afghanistan which we should have done after the end of the cold war along with other areas. there should have been a marshall plan type program set up for many countries around the world.

they should focus on getting baghdadi and some of his other top guys from isis.
