For those claiming that Ann Romney never worked a day in her life - simply not true

According to wikipedia: "In 2005, the governor appointed his wife as head of a new special office whose purpose was to help the state's faith-based groups gain more federal monies in association with the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Romney#First_Lady_of_Massachusetts_and_charitable_work

She knows that what really concerns women across America - besides deficit spending - is how to squeeze more small-government money for faith based initiatives.

In addition to the very real work of liaison (which, like a stay at home mom is unpaid... and only has a plethora of aides as opposed to nannies) she also had the very real jobs of..

Dressage competitor

George W. Bush impersonator

Breeder

And to those of you who say, "well, what has she done lately?" - Her youngest son, their baby Craig, is only 372 months old.
Raising a 31 year old is no day at the beach.

Motherhood is a labor-intensive career, no debate (unless you have a nanny or an equivalent).

Employment outside the house subjects you to arbitrary termination and no means of support if you don't get another job or unemployment benefits. Extra-domestic employment also subjects you to discrimination based on gender, age, associations, etc., stuff that will keep you from earning wages.

And as I said in an earlier post, you usually don't get fired for being a bad mother.

does not equal working hard. Couple caddies, bunch of houses, horse in every port.......... yeah rough fucking life. I doubt she was changing diapers, washing dishes and folding laundry every day.

She doesn't have a clue what real mothers go through and she should stop fucking trying to act like she has EVER had to struggle.

I can't provide detail for disclosure reasons.....

but I am aware of a company Bain purchased, then swiftly and systematically implemented short term cost-cutting measures with the goal of selling it in a few years for a huge profit.

What's one of the easiest ways to improve the bottom line, fast? Reduce the number of employees.

You can be sure that out of the 20% of workers who lost their jobs, many of them were working moms who needed that paycheck to make ends meet.

The fact that she is walking and riding is wonderful. The comment was way way off base and Ms. Rosen should at the very least walk
back her comments, I read Ms Rosens recent twitter account and she is not doing herself any favors. This argument is a real loser and anyone who knows me after all these years knows that I have no love of anything Republican. Anything you say about the help she has in the home or anything else in that arena is negated by her illness, hell I need help too and I certainly understand why she would.
Enough of the BS. The comment made by Ms Rosen was a real mistake, she should take her lumps and move on.
