John Crawford's Civil Rights Were VIOLATED under the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

The cops who shot down John Crawford did so with less than ONE SECOND consideration upon encountering him.

The cops who shot down John Crawford did so under the assumption that John Crawford was armed with a loaded assault style weapon (c.f 911 call).

The cops who shot down John Crawford did so in a state where the law clearly states that anybody who may own a weapon may openly carry that weapon in public.

Second Amendment open carry activism CONSISTENTLY targets large department stores such as Wal Mart for open carry activism. These cases result in many calls to 911 that somebody is brandishing a loaded assault weapon.

John Crawford, a young black man, was not afforded the same consideration that he was simply exercising his second amendment rights as is consistently given to white open carry activists by law enforcement (I can link to hundreds of videos about such consideration, many in Ohio).

This is an open and shut civil rights case under the second amendment.

If the DOJ is smart, they'll make this a case that the NRA CANNOT ignore and MUST support. The fact that John Crawford was carrying a toy was considered to be irrelevant by the grand jury because the cops thought he had a loaded weapon. It MUST be considered irrelevant by a federal grand jury in considering the same case as a civil right violation case. The federal grand jury must approach this case as if John Crawford had a loaded AK47 in the Wal Mart that day when considering whether or not the cops violated his civil rights under the second amendment.

Take that, racist ammosexuals.

The NRA would have no choice but to support the DOJ's prosecution. All open carry activists would have to support the DOJ on this.

It completely turns the tables on what people consider when looking at civil rights violation cases.

The ammosexuals are so entrenched, their heads would explode if the DOJ decided to prosecute cops because they violated a black man's second amendment rights.

His gun-at-all-costs rights or his hatred of non-white people? Interesting box he's being put in. I hate seeing guns win, but I hate seeing racism win, too.

Teh stooopid. It really will make your head explode.

When did you ever hear any of their members stand up for a non-white person's right to self-defense? Their whole schtick is based around scaring white people into buying guns to defend themselves against black people, armed or otherwise.

I want to see this reconciled in the public forum of the courts. It may have to be a civil suit if no one else such as DOJ picks this up.

Their fear of gun confiscation clearly overrides their fear of blacks. Some of them realize there isn't much of a leap from this incident to open season for cops on open carry types. The two or three guys who defend the cops are getting it from all sides from the gun lover secessionist types.

Didn't indict. I can't understand why it even went to the GJ.

I am sickened by this. Your post is a great idea. This kid was killed in cold blood.

How can anyone see that video and be anything but outraged at the senseless murder?

We're a lost society. We have lost everything that we ever held dear.

And many on that grand jury are racists from that racist Ohio cesspool of a town. They all need to be prosecuted and sued.

That anyone can see that video and think it was anything but murder. How someone can vote not to indict is unbelievable. Racist or not how can they not see they're giving the cops complete autonomy. They just said, sure, if my kid is in a store holding a toy gun, go ahead and shoot them.

If I were black I would be afraid to leave my home.

I am so angry. Just so angry

Were violated twice that day. First, by the 911 caller Ron Ritchie, who lied to 911 operater (admittedly). And second by the cops that shot without any warning. And I hope Mr. Crawford's family takes this all the way to the highest court necessary to have his name cleared.
