For the moment he suggests that the 15,000 need not be American. But, with over a year before any "moderate rebels" will enter the battles field, who can say for sure?
It is also telling how big in scope and long in duration this war will be.

Plus they're on the side of the christians and religious minorities.
I thought we liked christians and religious minorities. Or was that BS and we've got a different agenda?

(23,296 posts)My first thought is, why not arm and train the 18-40 year-olds among the 300,000 refugees that have fled the region after watching their neighbors and family members butchered? They know the territory, they know where these guys are, and they have a motive to fight them.
