My My... Guess Who Showed Up (For The First Time) To Oppose TYT's Wolf-PAC ???

Published on Oct 17, 2014

Testimony before the New Jersey Senate State Government Committee to call for a constitutional amendment banning money from politics included not only inspiring speeches from dedicated Wolf Pac volunteers but also an appearance from a surprising group: Koch Brother’s funded Americans for Prosperity. Their attendance reflected the fact that special interests are scared of Wolf Pac and what ordinary Americans can accomplish when they step up to fight for a free and fair democracy, unburdened by the corrupting influence of money in politics.

The measure passed committee by a vote of 3 to 1. It now goes to a full vote of the New Jersey senate.

But there is a long way to go, and we can’t do it without you. Now is the time for you to get involved. Get up. Get loud. Get money out of politics:

overturning Citizens United and I applaud the Wolf Pac for their efforts; HOWEVER, this summer there was a march from Los Angeles to Sacramento, an occupation, arrests and eventual passage of Bills in California targeting the same goal. Cenk Yugar (sp?) sent out an e-mail blast TAKING SOLE CREDIT for these victories that were actually achieved by dozens of different groups, the Wolf Pac being only ONE of those groups. Totally pissed me off and Mr. Cenk came off as an egomaniac. I had signed up with the Wolf Pac right before that and right after that e-mail I withdrew and told them exactly why I withdrew.

But Cenk got his idea from listening to Larry Lessig... He marched with Larry for part of the trek through New Hampshire...

He also states that he doesn't care which group manages to get money out of politics (he supports them all), as long as it happens.

He can come off as pompous at times, but his heart's in the right place.

as well. Again, I applaud the Wolf Pac's efforts but someone needs to tell Cenk he needs to reign in his ego.

I only hosted the marchers. Lessig joined them in Visalia I believe it was -- just south of me. There was no way this old carcass was going to march in 110 degree heat.
