But this is a bad law and is very likely to be overturned. This sounds like a classic "bill of attainder"

How is supporting Mumia any different than supporting Cliven Bundy or Eric Rudolph? Unlike Bundy, Mumia actually killed a law enforcement officer. He is a trendy cause célèbre who makes us look like angry teenagers.

Mumia is supported mainly by fringe activists. The vast majority of Democrats believe he should be in prison, along with other convicted murderers.
