that any budget he passes will require the President's signature to become law.

but the Republicans will control nowhere near 2/3 of the Senate in their wildest dreams.

much for that.

They may not control 2/3, but that doesn't mean they can't get the votes, especially if they have the majority in both houses - because other people will want things done too, and will have to ask them pretty please.

to support, for instance, a budget that would defund the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), which McConnel has threatened to do, might as well change their affiliation to Republican, because they would never see another dime from the DNC when election time comes around. It would be political suicide.

What we are in for is two years of nothing being done with the Republicans showing the country the ridiculous things they would do if they took the White House.

4. And if Obama doesn't sign the budget we will have NO budget.

And the Republicans can point directly to Obama as being the only thing preventing it.

And they will use all this power of misdirection to muddy up the Democratic party so we may not win anything back in 2016.

It will be bad, very bad.

And from all the media reports it sounds like it is our future, like it or not.
Everything says the chances that Republicans grab the Senate are very rosy.
Rosy just like a freshly whipped bottom.

6. Well in that case the President should sign everything because of future election outcomes.

This kind of thinking by Democrats is why apathy reigns supreme.

And those have not gone well for the Republicans lately. Public opinion polls showed most blaming them.

They wouldn't have enough votes to override a veto, and they're a bunch of lazy-asses anyway.
