If ever there were a class of people that should not be allowed to vote - these would be it.

on how certain people were voting. It profiled more than one person who planned to vote for Reagan, even against their own self-interest, as clearly stated in the magazine. I remember reading the article and being horrified. Nothing has changed since then. If anything, it's gotten so more and more people will ignorantly vote against their own self interest.

I don't know about voting against their interests but I'm pretty sure they won't vote for people who openly insult them.

I understand why anyone in the top 1 percent of wage earners votes Republican. they represent you perfectly. Anyone else who votes Republican…they’re just one of Corporate America’s useful idiots. It’s true.

I mean, we’ve seen the people at the Tea Party rallies; they’re not wealthy. How come their agenda is exactly the same as the Koch Brothers‘? How come, in their minds, the problem with our economy isn’t banks that are too big to fail, or CEOs making 500 times what the average worker makes, or lobbyists who write the laws. Literally.

-snip-

It’s funny also that the people who hate socialism so much are the FIRST ONES online for government giveaways. Tea Party people love Medicare. They love social Security. It’s perks. That’s what Government is; it’s giving people free sh*t, and people love free sh*t.
