Dallas Nurse Who Survived Ebola To Get Dog Back

DALLAS (AP) — A Dallas nurse who recovered from Ebola will soon be reunited with her dog, which has been sequestered since his owner became ill.

The King Charles Cavalier spaniel named Bentley is in quarantine at an abandoned Navy base in Dallas.

His owner, Nina Pham, was diagnosed with Ebola earlier this month. She contracted the virus while caring for a Liberian man, Thomas Eric Duncan, who died Oct. 8.

City spokeswoman Sana Syed said Thursday that the dog has tested negative for Ebola and that his 21-day quarantine — the Ebola incubation period — ends Saturday.

They have names, not like ebola governors, puppets are usually nameless, though they can be human.

And who is Ms. Dallas Nurse?

What is wrong with "Nina Pham, ebola survivor nurse from Dallas", same number of words?

Dog and human will be so glad for this reunion. Just out of curiosity, who paid for the dog's incarceration? Handlers had to wear total protection gear and that is not cheap.

Anyway, delighted ...

I hope we get to see her and Bentley reunited on TV or the Internet.

No greater loyalty than a dog and its human companion.

Can't see anyone in either thread referenced that advocates killing the dog.

A few goobers in the second thread talking about risk possibility but that's it. Apparently, people discussing the fate of the dog = kill the dog brigade just as people discussing Ebola = crazy hair on fire panicking brigade. No one in either thread wanted the dog to be killed.
