I was just part of a discussion where someone snarkily compared George Soros to the Koch Brothers, so I found this as a reply. I just love it!

4. Optics and Messaging.

Liberals have for decades refused to smack down false and fake stories about Soro's. Always afraid of some idiotic notion that the blacklash from the right wing would hurt their reelections . Wasn't it Lee Attwater who first coined the Soro's Liberal stories and false connections. I remember certain Wall Streeters were pissed when Soro's scored on some European Bonds and Currency.

I sense a schoolyard dynamic going on. The liberals have the edge in so many ways, but conservatives are masters at pushing buttons. Lacking original ideas and intellect, that is how conservatives have gotten through life. Sadly it works, so they keep doing it.

since someone I know knew him then. He's done many positive things, a good man.

worked his way through college. His story is equally inspiring. These are the kinds of people republicans attack and then they defend people like the Koch brothers.
