Noticed he sure had lots of oil for his hair, maybe he is attempting to "take control".

(13,305 posts)But one of them is I don't trust dudes with curly hair like he has. Perhaps it's some degree of self-loathing for having sort of curly hair that I hate (but nowhere near the tight locked curls like a Rand Paul or Harpo Marx or N'Sync era Justin Timberlake), perhaps it's knowing way too many dudes with hair like that who were assholes. Who knows. Either way....it's my secret shame.

(667 posts)it is folly to discount or marginalize him. What I fear most is that he will be able to tap into his old mans network of supporters. They were some of the most frantically committed campaigners here in NH. With that base he could very well garner lots of momentum from young voters. Paul cannibalized the Republicans and would have grabbed more young Democrats if not for President Obama.
Hillary's organization literally collapsed against Obama in '08 here in NH, she was seen as reactive and out of touch by the young voters I had contact with. I left her cause before the primary (after hearing President Obama speak at a local event) and never looked back.

(45,485 posts)President or making any waves in the GOP. So what if he gains his Dad's list of nutty Gold-bugs, paranoid anti-government types, and white supremacists? It'll merely be a grifting tool that Rand will be unable to do much with. As for the young flocking to Rand Paul, most Millennial aren't that gullible.
