Short term memory loss, I guess.

I for the love of me can't figure out why the Dems may lose the Senate and even lose more seats in the upcoming election. This all has me baffled. Things were about as bad as things can be coming out of the Bush years. Now, things have improved and are showing improvement across the board concerning many issues. I find it disturbing that voters want to return to "the bad old days" again. I think I may just be scratching my head come Weds. morning and no one will be able to explain it all to me. It has to be short term memory loss.

our politics has been completely screwed up at least since 1980. by all rights, watergate's legacy should have been about a quarter-century of solid democratic control, instead of a single term in the white house. and it's only gotten worse since then.

Year after year of certain media hammering "failed Obama" into the psyches of often clueless, superficial voters who don't have the time, brains, or stomach to follow politics, discard the bullshit, and make up their own minds.
