Watch missing video
A video clip of the Ohio governor candidates during a joint appearance Oct. 23 with the Plain Dealer editorial board is making rounds on social medial, despite efforts by the PD and the Northeast Ohio Media Group to kibosh the video.
Watch the video clip in the player below
In the clip, Democratic candidate Ed FitzGerald asks Gov. John Kasich why he supported legislation that limits what a rape counselor can talk about with a rape victim, and what purpose that law served.
Kasich responds he's "pro-life," and Green Party candidate Anita Rios chides him for supporting a law that targets poor women and their families.

(2,004 posts)The news media in Ohio has been complicit in hiding Kasich and what he is doing to the ordinary people of Ohio. The media in Ohio is almost completely owned by right wind ideologues, but it is still quite shocking just how hidden the right wing agenda and the corruption of Kasich has been.
This guy really thinks he is going to be the next POTUS. Obviously, the Kasich people believe the video the PD had posted will be very damaging to his national ambitions. They have no fear of consequences here in Ohio.
The saddest part is no one cares what is happening to the citizens of Ohio. The state Democratic Party is completely dysfunctional and has been for quite a while. The national party has thrown us under the bus for some reason and has made no efforts to right the sinking ship here in Ohio. The citizens of Ohio are going to pay a terrible price for being conned by the GOP. The national party had better wake up though. Jon Husted, the Secretary of Voter Suppression, will assist the GOP in stealing the election in 2016.
Thanks for posting this.
