Piss off the MSM...Piss off the Corporate Dems...VOTE!!!!!

Last edited Sun Nov 2, 2014, 06:52 PM - Edit history (1)

Both the media and the corporate wing of our party want us to lose the Senate.

But there's an easy way to defy them...

get out there and vote for the Democratic candidates up and down your ballot.

Voting is now an act of resistance!

The "corporate dems" include everyone who thinks the Clinton administration was better AFTER the GOP took Congress and those who think now that it's going to help us(in truth, it can't help us)for the Senate to go GOP this year so that we can supposedly run against the "do-nothing Congress". It also refers to the corporate donors who have basically taken over the party since 1992.

I wasn't saying anything about you.

5. Kay Hagan (D-NC)

1. Supported Simpson-Bowles.

2. Introduced legislation, along with Republicans Isakson and Enzi, which would have amended the Fair Labor Standards Act to place most IT employees in an overtime-exempt category (See S. 1747, Computer Professionals Update Act).

3. Co-sponsored the Foreign Earnings Reinvestment Act (with McCain, Graham and 7 other Republicans) which would have offered a huge bounty to American corporations that repatriated profits sheltered abroad. And by "huge bounty" I mean taxation at a rate of 8.75% (or 5.25%, if certain employment conditions were met), drastically lower than the normal 35% corporate tax rate. This to American companies already sitting on how many trillions of cash?

4. Voted against the DREAM Act.

Four biggies for starters. But ol' Kay is a mixed bag, and proud of it, based on her "Sensible Centrist" ads running here in NC.

It is a purple swing state.

What constitutes a "far left" candidate? Who, in your mind, is "far left"?

Most people are not "winners" in this country...we don't have to appease people who see themselves as "winners".

We need a Jim Hightower mindset for the red states.

She could have been elected by connecting with the energy of "Moral Mondays", but refused to do so.

So much for triangulation.

And yes...the point is to get people to vote...because a lot of major forces in the country want to hold the vote down.

There's no way you can describe our party's "strategy" in this campaign as anything as a deliberate effort to make sure we lost.

This could have been avoided, but that would have meant treating workers and the poor like they mattered.
