The President has nominated Loretta Lynch as the next U.S. Attorney General

She serves as a federal prosecutor in my home state of New York. I must admit that she is one of the few NY politicians I know very little about. This is being reported on Hardball and she would be the first female African-American Attorney General in the history of the country.
