This is madness - the lack of respect for this President and the subtle hints for haters are both frightening

However every other reference to this story talks about getting "Bin Laden" not getting Osama.

This is like when Fox shows a convicted to indicted Republican and puts a "D" next to their name...

It's a dumb accident, but it's clearly an accident. The college intern on the message controls isn't Illuminati. Accidents happen.

that used Osama Bin Ladens first name only as an identifier?

Find me ONE. And I'll agree that what I posted was wrong. Find me one single news story from anywhere, not just CNN that referred to Bin Laden as just "Osama"..

In case you hadn't noticed the daily paranoid rantings about Ebola and ISIS stopped on Wed... Gee I wonder what could have happened on Tues to make those stories unnecessary?

And friend, you are talking to one of Obama's biggest detractors, so don't think this has anything to do with him, this is about the media and the way they screamed bloody murder about "respecting the office" when Bush was in there.

I don't think it matters how many I post. I don't expect you to say "I was wrong".

Also where did you get the idea I first heard of Obama in 2008? That is odd.

As SomethingFishy pointed out they never ever use Osama without the Bin Laden part.

Enjoy your stay.

The SEAL community needs to understand the people have a right to know what is done in their name.

.
O'Neill has a two part feature airing on Fox, but a different Seal wrote a book that tells a different story:

But another SEAL who took part in the raid, which was code-named Operation Neptune Spear, wrote that the point man wounded bin Laden with his first shot — and that he and another SEAL, believed to be O’Neill, then fired the fatal rounds.

“He was still twitching and convulsing,” Matt Bissonnette, 38, said in his book, “No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama Bin Laden,” which he wrote under the name Mark Owen. “Another assaulter and I trained our lasers on his chest and fired several rounds.”

if you were going to discredit someone, wouldn't you want to muddy the waters?

Whether O'Neill's story is true or not we are deserving of the truth from the government of what happened on that raid. The Al Qaeda of Bin Laden's creation is a spent force and the current Al Qaeda is still dangerous but looks nothing like what Bin Laden created. The reason the government does not want to talk about this issue is because they don't want the public to know anymore about the various collection tools they have access to that are Extra-Constitutional. Anyone who talks about this issue just draws attention to an area the government is happy that the public is ignorant about.
