He had such a promising career in the 1960's and 70's. Because I have a penchant for blondes I had a HUGE crush on him back then.

Addiction is such a horrible disease and it affects everyone around the sufferer. I speak from experience. I had to cut loose my best friend of 30 years because she just turned into someone I didn't even know. When I met her the thing that struck me was that she laughed so often. People flocked around her because she just had that type of personality -- warm, caring, always doing for others. Fast forward 30 years later and she's bitter, abusive, hateful and begins drinking literally from the time she gets up (about 2:00 in the afternoon) to the time she goes to bed (about 4:00 in the morning). Poor thing is hardly coherent anymore and it's just heartbreaking. The doctors have ordered her to stop drinking and have offered many avenues to help but she just refuses. She's living with her sister and her brother-in-law now and all three of them are raging alcoholics. It's just gut-wrenching. I miss my friend so deeply.

Especially since, in terms of appearance, he has aged so well. He looks good, but he's mostly not there.

How he must have suffered after she miscarried as a result. The poor man!

It was a late 60s style (don't know the exact date) made for TV film where a very fit nature child was drafted in to the Marines, and confounded the drill sergeants. What a sad degeneration.

He played a hippie going thorough boot camp. I can't remember the name if it, but I was a little kid when I saw it.

I've followed him over the years and forgotten about him. Sad.

The movie Defiance was good.

The interviewer asked the dumbest questions. What an idiot.
