For the first time since the election, I'm feeling okay

It seems like Obama has taken the wind out of the republican sails letting them know what the actual political reality is going to be for the next 2 years. They can either choose to do something, or they can be dragged along kicking and screaming.

I hope he keeps doing it, and that he follows through.

he was responsible for all things under the sun with no input from Congress? See that is where this stupid game falls apart. You can't have it both ways. Either Congress does its job or not and that is on them. No he is not a king.

But he is the president and the leader of the party. He asked for that job, he has that job.

One of those in that job many years ago claimed: If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Another one: The buck stops here.

my point. It was a criticism of those who gave a Congress a pass for doing squat while expecting the President to do the lifting for all other branches of government then essentially slapping him when he came up to the limits of his office.

Obama has done more to keep the Bush movement going than anyone in the country.

To deny that and give him a pass on that matter is not wise.

Do you understand?

and its going to destroy them. In the two years before we get to do something about this, we will have to watch them eat each other. The teabaggers are already demanding purity. They will overreach, destroy and show themselves for what they are. People who hate Obama love their insurance. try and take it, gop. see how that will fly. I already have my burka on order.

Hopefully we grassroots people will make it clear to the party leadership that they should help the pugs eat each other. I have been told that the leadership doesn't read DU. I don't believe that. I just think they don't read enough.
