If not Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz then who???

The worst job in the country. One that nobody wants and they have to beg people to do it. Do we even know what the job is about???

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_National_Committee

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the principal organization governing the United States Democratic Party on a day-to-day basis. While it is responsible for overseeing the process of writing a platform every four years, the DNC's central focus is on campaign and political activity in support of Democratic Party candidates, and not on public policy.

who wears cowboy boots and speaks Spanish. And it's not like the next person is following some legendary leader who set the party back on the road to glory. Ms. Wasserman-Schultz has established a depressingly low bar. It would be nice if they found a real Democrat, instead of one who goes slumming with Republicans. Look West.

The chairperson of the DNC is elected by vote of members of the Democratic National Committee. The DNC is composed of the chairs and vice-chairs of each state Democratic Party Committee, two hundred members apportioned among the states based on population and generally elected either on the ballot by primary voters or by the State Democratic Party Committee, a number of elected officials serving in an ex-officio capacity, and a variety of representatives of major Democratic Party constituencies.

The chairperson is a superdelegate for life.

Oh crimony, I just read your horrible, whiny OP.

A terrible job, flying across the world on private jets raising money at the most exclusive clubs from the richest, most interesting people on earth. Nevermind all the time you have to toil in Hollywood with the most beautiful people fete you and give you money.

Somewherr I suspect there is pakistani bricklayer willing to take the job.

She's nothing but a figurehead. The DNC is irrelevant next to the DSCC and the DCCC. If you want someone to blame for the complete incompetence regarding the House races this year, look no further than the minority leader. She put Steve Israel in charge of the DCCC and he's the guy who decided to run a bunch of wingnuts in neutral or slightly leaning R districts.

He bailed before all the results were final. Small wonder given the debacle in New York. It's pretty sad when can't even take out a guy who's under federal indictment.

Don't blame the pukes.
don't blame voter suppression.

don't blame the the racist id requirement
don't blame the dems that stayed home.
don't blame the candidates than ran from Obama.
don't blame the media
don't blame the failure to get out the vote.
don't blame Obama who didn't extol his successes.

Blame DWS.
