Id never heard of such a thing until today.

(Neb.)-House Passes Bill to Rename Chadron Post Office for Sgt. Cory Mracek
(Chadron)-The House of Representatives passed House Bill 1499 today to designate the U.S. Post Office in Chadron as the Sergeant Cory Mracek Memorial Post Office.
Congressman Adrian Smith made the push to honor the fallen panhandle soldier. The district 3 congressman testified on Capitol Hill on why the Chadron Post Office should change its name to honor Mracek.
The legislation was originally introduced by Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE) and Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE). The bill now must be signed by the President before becoming law.
The Son of Jim and Pat Mracek, Cory Mracek originally served with the Nebraska National Guard, and transferred to active duty where he served with distinction.

You're just noticing. These votes are usually reserved for the 630pm votes that take place the first session of the week. Most are passéd via voice vote. No roll call.

On any post office but there must be some designation because they do this all the time.
