Have you ever messed up your Facebook account?

I did something without thinking and now find myself temporarily blocked from Facebook. I bought an item from someone who posted on our local "for sale" (FB) site and sent a message to her to thank her for her courtesy. Without thinking much about it, I clicked on her name on the page, rather than the "message" spot for the site and sent her a thank you message. Immediately I got a notice from Facebook that my account was temporarily suspended.

OK, I messed up. I have messaged Facebook and have tried to take pictures of documents required to re-instate my account. My camera will not take clear pictures of the information required. I have not heard anything from FB and there is no phone number to call to get information.
When I signed into Facebook originally, I (think) I had to answer some security questions. No option like that seems to exist. I know they do not have my picture.

Since my computer and camera skills are limited, I don't know what to do. Can I establish a new account with just my first and last name without the middle name? My (former) account listed my maiden name too.
I am frustrated and cannot seem to find a way to answer their requests. If my camera will not take photo's that show my address, and I tried--and they have no prior photo of me--What do I do?
Any ideas would be a great help.
This bugs the heck out of me since I just(prior to this incident) posted something I wanted to sell on this same sire. The error was mine.
Phooey.
I'm too old school for this.

1. I made the mistake of angering a few Teabaggers on HuffPost. They sent complaints to FB

and got my account temporarily suspended. Then I had to prove I was that person by doing that "recognize friends" in political photographs! How in the HELL am I supposed to know who is who? The alternative to "verifying" my account was to e-mail a copy of a picture I.D., but since my name isn't the one on FB, that wouldn't help me. Long story short, after a month, they removed my FB account.

They are asking you to take photos of WHAT? Do not do it.
I've not had this happen but in Googling it sounds like FB steps you through various photos THEY show YOU which are yours and you're asked to identify, or identify friends or something.

What are they asking you to do?

Sorry for the need to edit. Removed link, it did not show what FB requested.

3. Early on, I 'friended' too many people.

I got sick of reading all their narcissistic bullshit so I unfriended about 900 of them. Now I'm down to around 150, which is manageable.

4. I don't understand why FB would block your account for sending a thank you message to the site.

Do you mean you are blocked from that "for sale" page on FB or from FB totally?

Yes, you can establish a new FB account.

My note was sent to the sellers name via her post on a private--Facebook'-- site, not on Facebook itself.

Instead of messaging her on the individual site, I made the mistake of clicking on her name as a poster and left my thank you message. It went directly to the Facebook site. Facebook does not like me any more. I should have left the message on the 'for sale' site but did not even think about it. My mistake.
FB has yet to answer my message to them. Phooey!

9. Pretty sure you can set up an account using a different account name and the same email.

You can then change your account name to the exact name you used before. Someone I know had their account suspended, sent them a photo of her ID, and they never responded. We tried contacting them multiple times. She ended up setting up a new account. Problem is that you can lose a lot of stuff. Google "facebook account suspended" and you will get some links where people have worked the system and Facebook restored their account. Unfortunately, they are very concerned about law suits and it is often easiest for them to keep the account closed, knowing it isn't really difficult for someone to open another one.

As for the name, once your account is created under a different name, you can change it to the exact name you had before. I was a little surprised they suspended my friends account and within a week my friend had another account with the same email and name. The name could not be the same on initial set-up.
