Tree weeks ago i had the happiness of beeing hired as a phone receptionist at the général hospital in my hometown.
I was very pleased and eased with the tasks.
But it wasnt the same with a minirity but very influential, of colleagues

The one who was in charge of tutoring me began to complain to the supervisor about my suppised too strong and noisy voice. So I went on évaluation intervew with the super and he gave me two days to change it. I was also accused of wanting to forcefully to fits in the group ...
So the two next day I kept to myself and spoke to nobody exepted for saying hi and bye.
But it wasnt enough
You may think I am a racist jerk.. but I precise the minority of haters were all coming from Maghreb. (And most of them are revenge full toward frenchs. .even if we long ago apologied for suffering whe had done to them as a nation. ... they still keeps rancor and uses it ti walk on us. Yes.)
And today I had my "end of essay interwiew"
And I am upset... and in the same times released that the fact i font fit doesnt have to do with the jov itself. He told me I was talented.
But still not enough
And what pisses me of the most is that those colleagues, meanwhile spend their office time criticizing gossiping and mocking both medics, staff. . And even user.
But strangely those behaviour fits...

So im back tu useless and precariousness.
Just because Im not among the hypes.
Just because I maybe have too much soul. ..
I feel eally to much of social astracism and unfairness.

Please take this as constructive, but you need to work on your writing skills. You'll need to write better than this if you're going to land another job.

14. I struggled to get the full context, but here is my advice.

Try not to lose the lesson. I used to work in business development and had to make proposals to potential clients. Some I won, but many times, I lost. When I did lose, I always tried to find out why and what I could have done better. I didn't want to make the same mistake again. You should do the same. You might not like the answer, but you'll be better prepared for your next job.

Work on your communication skills. I'm guessing that English is not your first language and you struggle with it. Improve your English skills and being bilingual should give you an advantage in the job market.

Don't be bitter and don't bad mouth your boss from this job. Potential employers are very turned off by that. If you can, try to network with those people to see where you might fit in better. We had an admin once that bombed in office, but she fit in well at one of our power plants.

My first reaction was that the reason she was let go was because of poor communication skills. There was no intention to be rude or insensitive, but sometimes I get it wrong. I was trying be constructive when empathy was what was really needed.

BTW, I have travelled quite a bit and done a lot of business in Latin America, but my Spanish is just fair - well short of being bilingual. I've had experience getting by with marginal language skills and I have a lot of respect for people that take on the challenge

Sometimes some jobs are just not the proper fit. Sounds like it was a toxic environment to begin with, so perhaps this was a blessing in the long run.

I get how difficult it is to start a new job. I'm just 3 months in myself. It was shocking to me at how I was just dropped in with a day's training, given the same workload as everyone else and expected to keep up with those who had been there for years - and this is a complex job (accounting). I was even reprimanded for not keeping up in the first month (let me tell you I have NEVER been reprimanded at a job before, I was totally taken aback that I was being treated that way). Luckily I had a good manager who stepped in and with my supervisor and I and we worked out a new plan that has been working out well...I just got my 3 month review and it was all excellent. If I didn't have that manager though, I think it may have been a different story.

I'm also keenly aware of social slights and unfairness. I'm hyper-sensitive to criticism (thanks to a dysfunctional upbringing) and have to constantly remind myself to let stuff go. It's not easy, I totally get it. Something will come along that suits you better...sending good thoughts your way. Hope you land a great job soon!

But you have to have good energy to bring it. It totally sucks that your job didn't pan out, but be grateful for what you DO have. Hold your head high, smile, learn from it, and move on. Better things await.
