Have I been outside the USA in the last 30 days?
Have I had contact with ANYONE that has?
Body aches?
Fever?
Etc...
It took a couple extra minutes just to get checked in. But I sure understand the reasons behind it.

Oh, and by the way, I shook hands with a guy that's HIV positive. last night.
Any problems?
No, I don't mean I'm there because I had contact with a guy with HIV. I mean I have a Fever and body aches (for more than a week) and happened to shake hands with a guy with HIV yesterday.

(15,805 posts)I had scheduled several appointments at the Kaiser clinic here in So Calif, and every one of the 3 offices I went to, plus the lab and xray departments, had the same check-off questionnaire. I appreciated their diligence. They were also quite insistent that anyone who was in the waiting room and coughing or sneezing must wear a mask, and they were given an additional factsheet as well.
