Thank you, Obama, for dropping truth bomb after truth bomb tonight.

MAN! I'm listening to NPR right now and am speechless. Obama is knocking down every stupid Fox News fearmongering talking point with doses of reason and reality. He went all out addressing Americans' fears and concerns about immigration, such as claims that illegal immigrants get unfair advantages. Out the window go all the complaints about Obama being the "open borders president" and stuff like that. Obama understands that America can welcome immigrants and enforce the law at the same time. Now it's time to take some action, Congress.

sent it off to the local daily rag ... in essence the letter requests that since the major networks did not feel the need to broadcast the speech, they should, in all fairness, refrain from broadcasting any response to the speech.

When you have that job you are already obliged to do much more than speak well. If you are not willing to fight for All of America then you have already failed the test. If you are not willing to fight for those ideas and ideals you betray them by the pretense of speaking as if you would.

Where is the DOJ response to voter purges and similar discrimination? What happened to Justice for all? The President has a great deal of constitutional authority to determine how policy will be enacted. Why has this president waited 6 years to act presidential where it really matters?

If he does finally confront this issue by declaring in policy details and procedures which bypass a cowardly and intemperate congress, I will be shocked and amazed.

He's been paying back Congressional debts. Probably the MOST political thing he does.

Now, in the last 2 years of his presidency, he's free to follow his own agenda.

Too bad he struggled building consensus. Weeny Democrats, and even weenier Republicans. Scared of real change.

I'm listening to this Brit guy on Al Sharpton's show claim that "well, we just don't know." The subject was whether the President ruined any chances to "work together" or get anything bipartisan and blah-blah-blah. What a jerk! IS HE NUTS??? Where's he been for the last six years? In a frickin' COMA???? Hey, dude, you BELIEVE those assholes who say - well now we just can't work together....??? Seriously???? Dude: THEY WERE NEVER GONNA WORK TOGETHER!!!! NEVER!!!!!! This bunch was NEVER EVER gonna make time for this President. They've spent the past six years saying no. That's all they've done. Torpedoed everything, even ideas that some of their own had been promoting in the past. Those, too! Since this President got behind some of those, they decided it was no-go. ASSHOLES.

Hey, GOP, you climbed into bed with this. Now it gets to fuck you!

They'll soon prove they can't govern their way out of a Snapple lid. I'd bet some of 'em don't even remember how anymore. And for the asshole newbies, it's just all about the anarchy anyway. Remember, this bunch is into hating government and wanting to do everything they can to dismantle it. Which would leave us with anarchy. I find it funny and rather ironic that some of them are bringing up that word now. Well, I guess they'd know, 'eh?
