A Plea to Riot Police, Robo Cops, the National Guard and to Governor Nixon tonight.

We are asking that you refrain from violence against US Citizens when the verdict from the GJ is announced tonight.

Please remember that the US Citizens assembled, not just in Ferguson, but across the country, are exercising their 1st Amendment Rights to peacefully assemble to air their grievances against actions they believe taken by those who work for them, are not in their best interests.

:large

And remember that these protesters are not armed. They are American Citizens who have every right to be where they are tonight.

We ask you also, to stop arresting Reporters for doing the job Journalists in a Democracy are expected to do.

We noted the arrest of such a journalist last night after a ruling that made it illegal for you to inhibit journalists in the course of their duty:

Anonymous @YourAnonNews · Nov 22

.@stlcountypd your arrest of @TreyYingst directly violates of yesterday's federal court ruling which prohibits inhibiting media. #Ferguson

Yes the ruling came down yesterday. And from the ACLU who are tireless in their efforts to ensure the rights granted in the US Constitution to the citizens of this country:

Sad that it was needed, isn't it, since we thought we already had the right to a free and open press.

So, to all the Riot Police, Robo Cops, Military Personnel sent out to, well, whatever it is you are being sent to do, let's not have a repeat of the violence you engaged which caused the near deaths of two US Veterans and thousands of illegal arrests during the OWS protests.

The world will be watching tonight. Please try, hard though it may be, to control the violence against US Citizens that is becoming all too familiar to those watching all over the world.

Why is #Ferguson important? Because war torn countries are sending messages of hope to US citizens.

Some are planned for the day after the GJ announcement.

Because it isn't just this one case. Even here, today on DU, I saw people try to 'explain' the shooting of a 12 yr old child.

It is heart breaking that anyone could even try to defend these killings.

Parents of #MikeBrown ask UN human rights expert to monitor police during protest. http://bit.ly/1y05hrE cc: @ForstMichel @MainaKiai_UNSR

It really has come to the point where the US needs some intervention from outside. The second time that UN has been asked to monitor the abuse of US citizens who are merely engaging in what they have every right to do, peacefully protest against brutality from their own Police and the elected officials who send out the military against their own citizens.

preparing for it. I doubt there will be riots, people have been working hard to keep the momentum against Police Brutality and Bigotry towards AA going. The last thing Civil Rights Activists want is a riot.

However, we are all too familiar with the tactics that are used to make the oppressed seem like the threat the general public has to worry about.

We'll see, but to be honest, it isn't just about this one killing. So regardless of the GJ's findings, it looks like Ferguson has become the focal point to begin the process of ending Police Brutality towards the AA community.

protesters, it is hard to remain civil when faced with an almost daily body count including children, at the hands of those who are supposed to be protecting them.

It is downright insulting that Democratic Gov. Nixon is doing everything he can to make it seem that the Ferguson, peaceful protesters are the problem, when we know that it is his 'army' of robo cops and riot police who were responsible for most of the violence that occurred in the first round of protests. Which he practically admitted when he was forced to withdraw them when, in a moment of clarity, even the MSM could not ignore the violence of our so-called 'civilian police' against innocent protesters. But then we saw it all before, not that long ago, when sadly, many DEMS were the catalysts for sending in the militarized units of robo cops who attacked and brutalized innocent, peaceful civilians.

ask law enforcement to do the same. He is lecturing the protesters, telling them now being violent won't get them anywhere. Really?? It got Wilson somewhere, he doesn't have to work anymore, he will no doubt be paid a huge amount of money for his retirement.

Violence doesn't get you anywhere? Dear Mr. President, are you serious?? Cheney? Bush? Wolfowitz? Rummy? Rice? As a non violent person I want him to know that violence in America gets you everywhere. And he participated in making that happen when he decided to 'move forward' from one of the most violent crimes in our history against a nation of innocent people. A whole lot of people profited from those crimes, so I'm not sure what he is talking about here.

Brown's parents, non violent, where did their non-violence get THEM so far??

This president sounds more and more disconnected from the people each and every day.
