video tape and testimony of the contemporaneous acting out of what eye witnesses are observing/had observed, is highly unreliable; whereas, the unconfronted (per unrelated prosecutors that have reviewed the GJ transcripts) testimony of a defendant, 2 months after the fact, is to be considered sacrosanct.

Most of us would try other methods of avoiding a dangerous confrontation first and fire after all other options were exhausted. That is most of us and how the real world works most the time. Unless you are a cop that thinks black people are dangerous for being black. Then it's shoot first blame the victim later.
