Think about those who are currently serving.

I posted this on facebook because I was so disappointed in friends (veterans that I served with or know) that continue to post horrible things about President Obama. Just wanted to share with you all.

Here is a friendly reminder to all my fellow Americans. Keep in mind that when you post vulgar, disrespectful things about the current president that you loathe so much, you are talking about our Commander in Chief. He may not be anything to you, but if you have a son, or a daughter or a relative who is currently serving in the armed forces, well you have interrupted their chain of command by telling them that those who lead are are not worthy. And when you have no respect for your chain of command, you will not succeed, and when you become the problem and not a team member, who do you think is going to save your ass? We should be united in support of our troops. This is fundamental to the success of our troops. I am absolutely ashamed of some people I know. Pull your heads out of your asses and think about those who are currently serving.

and I don't support the troops. Their mission in Iraq and Afghanistan are destructive and pointless.

What military person owns Iraq or Afghanistan as you claim? This ought to be an interesting answer. Presidents Bish and Obama own the wars and will be remembered forever for it. President Bush for obviously starting it and President Obama for continuing it through his entire terms.
