Said armed asshole couldn't wait for backup or use less than lethal force or just let it go.

Armed asshole had to get out of truck and follow unarmed citizen and shoot him down.

So, you are right, this started of with just walking in the street, as many young citizens are wont to do.

That must be how he was coached to speak after the GJ results.
He escalated and that is NOT in his training.
Wilson was mad and feeling dissed. He was not getting the respect he believes he is owed. He lost it and pursued Mike Brown to his death.
That's how I think it went down.

But, I get the feeling it didn't matter too much what Wilson said. Little chance there would be much in the way of negative consequences for him. In fact, didn't a bunch of RWers raise a bunch of cash to reward him?
