1. He shot him when he was going down.

2. CNN discussing important problems with the Ferguson police investigation

Officer Wilson was allowed to leave the scene and went back to the station and washed blood off his hands. No blood sample was taken.

No record of Wilson's statement upon returning to the station was taken. The interviewing officer said he had no tape recorder and made no written record because too many things were going on.

No photos of the crime scene by the Ferguson PD were taken. The police photographer said he didn't have a battery for his camera.

No distance measurements were taken by the Ferguson PD at the crime scene, with investigators walking all over it.

There were a couple other problems with the forensics that I don't recall from the CNN report.
