Birth Announcement - made me smile!

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/12/02/1348885/-Probably-the-best-birth-announcement-ever

A retraction – Bogert –
In 1995 we announced the arrival of our sprogget, Elizabeth Anne, as a daughter. He informs us that we were mistaken. Oops! Our bad. We would now like to present, our wonderful son – Kai Bogert.

Loving you is the easiest thing in the world. Tidy your room.

The difference it makes in a child's psyche to be loved and accepted in moments like these. I mean, just imagine the difference in the experience this young man had opening up to his parents vs. the shame administered by less enlightened parents.

We may not always be able to point to the moments when we began to feel comfortable in our own skin, but I'll wager this young man will bear the fruits of his parents love for a lifetime.

A toast to parents who do it right!!
