Boy - I'm loving Lisa Bloom more and more now
http://www.mediaite.com/online/nbc-legal-analyst-goes-off-on-scarborough-show-some-respect/
NBC legal analyst Lisa Bloom saw Joe Scarboroughs Ferguson #hottake from Monday and was not amused. Late Tuesday night she unleashed on Twitter numerous rebuttals to his framing of the shooting of Michael Brown and the subsequent protests over the lack of indictment, in which Scarborough claimed Brown was being falsely martyred. (The morning host, for his part, has taken a couple shots at his fellow MSNBC hosts over the networks Ferguson coverage.)

.@JoeNBC No one has said Mike Brown was a hero. What we have said was that we don't give the death penalty to shoplifting teens.

This is all part of the game, to keep what they believe is their viewer base up in arms, which will then motivate those viewers to continue watching him to see what other bullshit streams from his mouth

Best host on any network is Rachel. She is throughly researched, and most informed of any of them. No surprise she was a Rhodes Scholar

Same thing happened with Randy Rhodes of radio/talk show fame. Like she said on her radio show. "After I leave everything will be wiped off the Internet about her" or some words to that effect.

in the beging, but you are right. She just sits there at times and doesn't even try to dispute what he says. Seems at times he talks over her so she can't get a word in even if she tries to express her opinion. He also seems to dismiss her opinion much of the time. I think she stays only for the money and doesn't care if her opinions are heard.

(45,319 posts)it would make a strong impression. It is almost impossible to be on nationwide TV, even cable, and get that few viewers.
Like the old adage goes; people who love Howard Stern will listen for an hour daily, but people who absolutely HATE Howard Stern and want him kicked off the air will listen to all THREE hours, every day without fail...

(150 posts)I can remember when Gregory had a talk show on MSNBC in the afternoons. A split screen of about 6 guests were shown quite often. Two of the two main guests were Scarborough and Rachel Maddow. (This was before RM became a *Star on MSNBC just starting out on the station.) Rachel was no match for Scarborough. She came through with her intellect, always had the right answers and that made Joe mad as heck. One day Joe Joe got so mad at Rachel, he walked off the set.
What a guy. What class. NOT.
Scarborough is a jerk and always will be a jerk in my estimation. (No wonder he and wife got divorced.) Downside for his naysayers, his show's ratings are pretty good at present. Darn anyway. Boo. Hiss.
Miss Lisa has always been a fighter for civil rights. Being the daughter of California's famous mom, lawyer Gloria Allred, she brought up her daughter A-OK.

(24,703 posts)Just think, at 6 AM if we watch on MSNBC, we get the complete run down on right wing hypocrisy, and if that is not fun enough we can go over to Fix Noise and watch the so called journalist sit on a couch and throw disparaging remarks on there racism, we all can get the double fun of nihilistic dogma.
So, Joe why don't you resign and go over to FIX Noise they have a nice warm seat on there couch and you would fit right in between all the right wing propaganda artists and you can still make your millions.
And by the way, Liza Bloom on the Lawrence O'Donnell show, Chris Hayes Show, and the Rachel Maddow show rebutted your remarks with absolute conviction of the law and what was and should have been done, and if you are so confident in your basis of your fact, why don't you have her ( Ms. Bloom) on your show, then we can all see what you really mean
