"Say Kids! What time is it?!"

It's time to put Republicans back in charge of everything. It has been this way for as long as I can remember.

America could not wait to get rid of LBJ and the Democrats and put Nixon into power. They could not wait to get rid of Carter and put Reagan into office. They could not wait to get rid of Clinton and Gore and put George W Bush into power. And they cannot wait to dump Barack Obama.

And in each of these elections, the Republican successors managed to screw up our country in ways that were almost unimaginable. Nixon gave us abuse of power, corruption, and Watergate. Reagan gave us a war on "government" and huge debt and deficits that were historic in their scope. Of course, Bush, Jr gave us endless war and doubled down on the debt and deficits and crashed our economy.

After each of these Republican regimes, Democrats were left to clean up their disastrous messes. Bush, Jr left an extraordinarily large mess. But the economy is finally beginning to recover. Jobs are being created. People's confidence in the economy is the highest in a long time. Much work needs to be done. However, we will not be able to complete the job. Because the people are ready to put Republicans back in charge and we can only imagine the disaster that lies ahead? But you can bet your ass that it is coming.

Because "there was nothing to vote for" and "our candidate was no better than theirs" Somebody gave me another reason but I forgot what it was.
This is not like Reagan and Nixon

Not too many I would guess since only about 36% of voters voted.

my first thought was that it's Howdy Doody time. Seeing that the repugnicans coming to power are marionettes dancing to the Koch Bros' tune, I wasn't far off the mark.
