I just looked up where Hooks, TX was at, it's the TX, AR, LA region. One of the most racist, vile and disgusting regions on our country, if you ask me. It's where the worst of all those areas converge into stew or racist, bigoted and anti-Semitic bile. It's filled with small towns governed with by even smaller minds. Basically, it's a snapshot of everything a reasonable person finds repulsive in our nation. In other words, it's a classic example of what's wrong with our country. This charming Podunk has a population of around 3K. Don't expect to see a town that tiny rise up against one of its own. When a local is that remote they're clannish almost to the extent of being a cult.
