High School Apologizes For Teen Who Posted “Go Bach To Africa” After Ferguson Verdict

by Ryan Broderick

A high school senior from Illinois tweeted this on Monday night during the announcement of the grand jury decision not to charge Darren Wilson with the death of Michael Brown.

The backlash was immediate as the girl’s tweet went viral on Twitter and Tumblr. The girl didn’t delete the post and at one point said she only regretted the tweet had a typo in it.

Twitter users started sharing all of the girl’s personal information. Then people began mass emailing her high school.

The school received so many emails, apparently, that it was forced to issue a statement, saying in part, “We assure anyone who read those comments that they do not reflect any of the teachings of this school district.”

feelings on the subject she should have no problem with potential employers knowing her stance.

Makes you wonder what her parents taught her, huh?

in hopes that maybe a current or prospective employer sees some of the racist, hateful shit these people post on a public forum with their real identities.

As this extremely foolish HS senior is about to learn. This will be something which will have an impact on her college career, relationships and career choices for a very long time to come.

I'm quite certain she realizes that now, but there's not a chance that this will be forgotten. She has a very unusual name, too, so this very bad idea will follow her from now own.

Uff da!
