Romney is not being transparent on taxes or bundlers, a Washington Post editorial today says. And this is a typically conservative newspaper when it comes to opinion. http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/mitt-romneys-secrets/2012/04/22/gIQAhvsdaT_story.html?hpid=z2
Romney's father ran for President and released tax info; why won't his son do the same? the piece argues. Good read.

(21,925 posts)If he doesn't reveal the contents then he's opening himself up to people making up any kind of story. Romney is a tax felon and if you disagree, Mitt, then prove me wrong and RELEASE THE RETURNS!

(82,849 posts)Romney's obscenely wealthy, and there's not much of a secret about that. But remember, he voted in Massachusetts as a Massachusetts resident in the last couple of elections, ostensibly living in the basement of one son's house. If Romney filed his taxes in a, shall we say, friendlier tax environment than Massachusetts, he might finally provide an instance of actual voter fraud for the ferrets in the Republican party who are so anxious to find widespread voter fraud as an excuse for losing so often.
And that would be highly inconvenient.
