1. He looks great!

He is a hero to me, and has been since his election to the GA house in 1965. I will never forget the 1968 democratic convention where he was nominated for Vice President but had to decline since he wasn't old enough (35) to serve! He has been a HUGE supporter of gay rights and same sex marriage.

May he continue in good health.

2. Happy Birthday Mr. Bond. Heard him speak when I was a HS student. Mentioned that when I saw him at

a lecture 8 years ago, he seemed to like that.

I've long been impressed with this man's thinking, and ability to get things done in the face of stiff opposition.

4. I saw him speak in the late '60s ....

one of the best public speakers I have ever seen.

He took incoherent questions from the audience, made them coherent, checked them out with the question-asker, and then answered them beautifully. I had never seen that done before, and he did it so well.
