Did you get your W-2 yet? Have you started yet? Refund year or taxes due year?

(52,317 posts)my previous version was 2010 i think.
i do a "one-step update" every day so i'm glad i upgraded quicken for the speed improvement of that feature alone.

(86,775 posts)Needing a little time to get all the new stuff entered into the system (didn't some tax rule expire and then become reinstated at the last minute in Dec.?) and that they said there could be a delay for filing and later reported that Jan. 20 would be the earliest filing date or something like that?
I don't have all my W2s and I am waiting until late March or early April because that's when my student loan rehab program is complete and removes me from default" status which means I can receive my tax returns should there be any, currently, I don't know if there will be returns... at least I won't be owing anything to the IRS.

(9,273 posts)My son (still in college) turned 24 last year so he can no longer be a dependent and we can't claim any of his college expenses. (Graduates in May--yahoo!!) Both of us had our pay withholding significantly increased, so I'm hoping we break even.
