Senior House Republicans are demanding that the Obama administration reveal its contingency plans in the event that the Supreme Court scraps Obamacare subsidies in three dozen states.

Five Republicans on the powerful Energy & Commerce Committee made their request in a letter Wednesday to Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell.

"Specifically, we are examining the extent to which the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and other relevant agencies of the federal government, are preparing for the possible consequences of the Supreme Court's decision in the case of King v. Burwell," wrote the lawmakers.

The lawmakers are Energy & Commerce Chair Fred Upton (R-MI), Health Subcommittee Chair Joseph Pitts (R-PA), Oversight Subcommittee Chair Tim Murphy (R-PA), Chair Emeritus Joe Barton (R-TX) and Vice Chair Marsha Blackburn (R-TN).

2. I would respond by naming an all R committee to look into what can be done. Balls in their court.

And I would make sure that all the Rs on that committee are up for election in 2016.

I see no difference in their "demanding" that Obama provide immediate links and proof, than a common Troll.

Aw, poor babies, nobody likes them, Congressional approval is as dismal as always, and now the
GOP own it all.

to this request from their friends in the GOP. Something simple that leaves no room for misunderstanding or nuance....

I think "Fuck You!" would be nice.

Let the blue states who set up exchanges continue to do so.

Let the GOP fix the system so it includes the red states who decided to not create exchanges.

'Sorry folks living in the red states those that you voted for took it away, you all should be happy now, you got what you voted for. Good luck and good night. You can kick them out in 16 if ya want."

Do absolutely nothing if people drop dead in the street in red states so be it, it is what they wanted and voted for.
