(21,717 posts)Really tragic situation. Nobody knows how long she was without oxygen. The next thing I think we will hear is that she has passed, I hope I'm wrong.

(28,876 posts)There's a long formal procedure about declaring brain death. Hopefully her family will be reasonable and merciful and remove her from the ventilator after she's declared dead.

(32,712 posts)it was kind of negative. She had to relive the pain surrounding her mom's death all over again. I'm wondering if that's what pushed her over the edge.
