Opposes safe and legal abortion.
Believes states have the right to restrict access to birth control.
Supports so-called “personhood” initiatives that could interfere with personal, private, medical decisions relating to birth control, access to fertility treatment, management of a miscarriage, and access to safe and legal abortion.
Supported state efforts that blocked Planned Parenthood from receiving funding, which would end the preventive health services that its health centers provide—like STI testing and cancer screening — for North Carolina women and families.
